My name is Lixza Corea and I am the HR Generalist for PV04 at Aarons. I am originally from The Bronx New York but currently reside in Charlotte, North Carolina and report from our Matthews Divisional office located in North Carolina. I have a heavy background in Operations as well as employee relations and workforce development. The wonders of the HR world, with over 10 years of experience, I look forward to another 30! I enjoy engaging with people and better educating myself each and every day. I firmly believe in the theory that my job is essential in creating that bridge between Operations and HR.
Day in, day out, we (HR) can be juggling a whole range of spinning plates, constantly trying to make sure one doesn’t drop, whilst at the same time, doing our best to support Aaron’s biggest asset- our people. You cannot spell “HERO” without “HR”. Human Resources is something I am truly passionate about. I enjoy cooking very much. Believe it or not, I do enjoy a good Netflix movie but my go-to is, reruns of Everybody Loves Raymond and King of Queens. Anything that requires quality time with my family, I enjoy.
As an HR professional, all my objectives regarding the company and its employees can be summed up in one word: balance. My goal is to always remain balanced throughout my career. Further educating myself on new HR functions. If you stop learning, you stop evolving!
