The Digital Designer will work closely with key business stakeholders, the internal creative and e-commerce teams, and external partners to concept and design assets for Aaron’s owned and paid digital channels.
As a team contributor, this person performs tactical tasks effectively, develops collaborative relationships with team members, displays clear communication and acts proactively. This includes being able to multitask, problem solve, and manage multiple timelines. The right candidate will live and breathe creative design, typography, user experience, and all things creative. They thrive in a collaborative environment and can advocate for exceptional design solutions.
This person will contribute to all aspects of digital design, from website design, emails, digital ads, and social images.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Provides creative, inspiring design with a focus on user experience
•Draws upon strong understanding of digital design principles to build and produce inspiring work to promote Aaron’s
•Works with cross-functional teams to design landing pages, emails, ads, and other collateral
•Ensures all branding displayed is consistent and on message to conform with Company branding guidelines
Required Education, Experience, and Certifications:
•2+ years of digital design experience in retail or a related field
•Experience in a corporate creative department, agency or design studio
•Bachelor’s Degree, Graphic Design or Visual Communications
Required Skills and Competencies:
•Expert proficiency in most Adobe CC products (Photoshop, InDesign Illustrator, Animate, etc.)
•HTML design experience a plus
•Detail-oriented with an eye for creativity as well as consistency
•Must be self-motivated; show ability to work independently, and the ability to manage time effectively
