Dir-Analytics & Data Science
Summary: | The Director, Analytics serves as a partner to our operational leaders to drive strategic analytics to support all aspects of the Aaron's business. Responsible for crafting and executing a compelling vision for the delivery of information and analytics platforms with solutions to support key stakeholders. This position will help transform the business by continually utilizing data and analytics to improve results. |
Duties and Responsibilities: | ·Partner with cross functional teams and management to provide information analysis and decision support for various efforts at both the strategic and operational level ·Design and develop credible and robust KPI dashboards that help management understand and measure operational and financial performance ·Assist in the development of the annual financial plan and long-range forecast, including operating, corporate and capital budgets ·Responsible for providing oversight and direction for the business intelligence group to support operations, strategy and performance improvement |
Education and Experience: | ·Bachelor’s degree ·10 years of relevant experience – preferably in Finance, Corporate Development or Consulting ·3 years of supervisory experience |
Required Skills: | ·Extensive analytical, financial modeling and forecasting experience with a proven ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable insights ·Demonstrated ability to synthesize and communicate data into actionable recommendations, while managing multiple assignments in a constantly changing environment |
