Director Financial Planning & Analysis
Summary: | Consolidates three individual segment plans (Aaron’s Business, BrandsMart USA, and Unallocated Corporate Overhead) into an overall AAN plan (including cash flow and balance sheet) that is used by senior executives to inform the company’s guidance for external reporting. |
Duties and Responsibilities: | ·Manages the annual business plan, quarterly forecasts, financial analysis, as well as other monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting for the Aaron’s Business and Unallocated Corporate Overhead oIncluding the 3-5 year financial model ·Supervises team of managers and analysts that compile and analyze all financial information for the Aaron’s Business ·Reviews and approves monthly financial package for senior management, including commenting on variances to plan, reforecast and prior year ·Analyzes and reports on key drivers of company performance, including monthly, quarterly and annual results ·Analyzes actual results to understand variances and revises forecast as necessary ·Manages the 13-week cash flow forecast for the Aaron’s Business and the consolidation process with BrandsMart USA’s 13-week cash flow forecast ·Proactively communicates forecast issues to appropriate leadership, as well as actions necessary to remain on plan |
Required Education, Experience, and Certifications: | ·Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance ·Master’s Degree and CPA preferred ·10 years of progressive Accounting or Finance experience ·3 years of supervisory experience |
Required Skills and Competencies: | ·Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL skills ·Lawson and/or Anaplan knowledge preferred |
