Financial Analyst FP&A

Summary:
The Financial Analyst will support the FP&A team, while assisting in the creation and maintenance of our company-wide financial plan.  This position will need to attain a deep understanding of the rent-to-own industry.  This role will have high visibility and exposure within the organization and will collaborate with subject matter experts both within Finance and across the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·Supports the financial planning and analysis team in the development and implementation of forecasting models that capture underlying business dynamics to assist in the management of the company

·Build and maintain financial models to support organizational decision making

·Provides detailed variance analysis of results and analytical support of the company’s strategic initiatives, including summary presentations

·Analyze financial information and reports to provide clear, accurate and timely financial decision support to management

·Creates reports and metrics for daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operational tracking

Education and Experience:

··Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or another quantitative/analytical field

·
·1-4 years of experience in a finance or analytical role

··1-2 years of experience analyzing income statements and balance sheets

··SQL or similar data management system experience

··Prior hands-on experience with computer programming languages

··Experience creating complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, and models in Excel (VBA experience preferred)

··Experience creating and editing executive-level presentations in PowerPoint

·Experience in Enterprise Performance Management system administration (Anaplan experience
preferred, but not required)

Required Skills:

·Proven ability to work independently

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·Strong attention to detail

·High level of discretion when dealing with sensitive information

·Critical thinking– Understanding of the issues related to the decision-making process; ability to analyze
situations fully and accurately, and reach productive decisions
