S0920 - Sr Mgr Risk & Decision Analytics
Summary: | Responsible for providing both day-to-day insights and big picture analysis to help optimize performance across Aaron's business units. The senior manager will provide overall leadership in innovating, building and monitoring risk solutions that increase the value of underwriting for leasing operations. This position will have high visibility and exposure within the business and collaborate with subject matter experts across the company. The candidate will be required to leverage financial and business knowledge to influence senior leadership and help formulate recommendations related to the company's corporate strategy or operations. This position will have 2 direct reports. |
Duties and Responsibilities: |

Required Education, Experience, and Certifications: | ·Bachelor’s degree required ·8-10+ years relevant experience ·1-2 years supervisory experience ·MBA or CPA license a plus but not required |
Required Skills and Competencies: | ·High level of proficiency in SQL, SAS, Excel and/or other statistical data analytic tools. ·Strong understanding of forecasting and financial statements ·Strong business intuition to identify opportunities to apply modeling/analytics to drive value for internal customers ·Knowledge of tools, methods and processes used to make business predictions; ability to use the tools, processes and practices for predicting business trends and providing forecasts that drive business decisions and business planning. |
