The Senior IT Communications Engineer functions as a member of the IT Communications team, whose primary responsibility is supporting a variety of secure network communications including VOIP, traditional analog and digital telephony, wireline and wireless.This role has responsibilities that range from supporting end users, performing project coordination to the maintenance and service of all corporate telecommunications equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·Performs work requiring initiative and considerable judgment within established policies.

·Configure, support, maintain the Genesys Cloud Environment including user creation, role creations, call flows, and dialer administration.

·Configure, support, maintain the Zoom phone environment for Store Support Center teams.

·Configure users/hunt groups for store users and groups using BroadSoft Broadworks platform.

·Perform basic and advanced SIP troubleshooting using wireshark and diagnose SIP errors based on traces for corporate and retail locations.

·Interface between SIP vendors and internet providers at retail locations to ensure VoIP problem resolution in a timely manner.

·Analyze telecommunication requirements for equipment and systems configurations based on business initiatives and directives.

·Track and maintain specific licensing requirements on a variety of platforms to ensure accuracy for billing and support.

·Provide telecom support to corporate, field personnel and retail locations using Aaron’s approved contractor lists and methods.

·Responsible for maintaining all telephony equipment (analog, digital & VoIP) using provided maintenance and service procedures.

·Troubleshoot escalated technical support issues in a timely manner and document resolution.

·Assist in coordinating installation of equipment, communications systems and components for stores and Store Support Centers.

·Responsible for sourcing all communication services (data and voice) for both Home Office and stores

·Support and Maintain video communication platforms, chat communication platforms, and sharing platforms.

Education and Experience:

·Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with a minimum of eight years ofSystems/Network experience, three years of SIP/VOIP experience and Hosted Voice Platforms experience (Zoom phone, and Genesys Cloud preferred); or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
