Tech Compliance Assurance Project Manager
Summary
The Project Manager coordinates IT and Audit projects using organizational and time management techniques. The Project Manager is responsible for facilitating grooming of acceptance criteria, initiation of item delivery and timely status updates to ensure products are delivered timely. The Project Manager utilizes effective interpersonal skills to ensure collaboration between the Technology Compliance Assurance, IT and Audit departments to achieve overall project expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities
·Meet with applicable IT, Audit and/or business stakeholders to discuss, define and capture acceptance criteria
·Manage the creation and maintenance of valuable project documentation (JIRA)
·Collaborate with stakeholders resolve specific project roadblocks and stagnation
·Maintain clear and concise communication between all project participants
·Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, grooming, touchpoints and retrospectives)
·Curates the retention and organization of information artifacts (notes, action items, meeting recordings, etc.)
·Leverages templates and frameworks to eliminate waste and re-work
·Publishes known schedules for recurring, routine tasks e.g. Access and Role Reviews
·Report accurately and continuously status updates to the Product Manager so that resolutions where needed may be reached
Education and Experience
·3+ years of professional, recent experience in the IT industry as a Project Manager
·Working knowledge of audit industry terminology, information technology general controls (Manage Access, Manage Change, etc)
Required Skills and Competencies
- Great organizational skills and ability to manage multiple demands without missing deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to include ability to interact with employees at all levels, facilitate meetings, etc .
- Experience with traditional project management practices such as scope and time management, etc.
