Accounts Payable Support Associate

Summary:
Responsible for performing various clerical assignments in support of Aaron’s Corporate Accounting departments. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter that can interact with team members in a fast-paced production environment to accomplish the units’ objectives. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

·Respond to phone and fax inquiries coming into Accounts Payable

·Processes electronic or paper mail coming into the Accounts Payable

·Electronic review of invoice detail to Lawson data

·Record and prepare ACH/PCD files to upload and request approvals

·Record and process all checks same day as issued

·Performs scanning and quality review for Accounting batches

Required Education, Experience, and Certifications:

·1 year of general office support experience

·1 year of customer service phone experience

·Minimum high school degree

Required Skills:

·Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

·Prior Accounts payable or Lawson experience a plus

·Must be able to multi-task, be detail oriented and able to meet deadlines established by management

·Strong communication and prioritization skills

Physical Requirements:

Hearing/Speaking:  Effective communication with associates, supervisors/managers, and customers as required

Bending/Stooping:  Occasionally (activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of time)

Climbing:  Occasionally (activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of time)

Lifting:  Occasionally (activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of time)

Lifting Weight:  Ability to lift up to 15 lbs independently not to exceed 50 lbs without assistance

Pushing/Pulling:  Occasionally (activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of time)

Sitting:  Constantly (activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of time)

Standing:  Occasionally (activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of time)

Walking:  Occasionally (activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of time)
Hybrid/Remote Environment Exposure to climate-controlled environment and may encounter sounds/noises of moderate levels.
