IT Hardware Procurement Supervisor
Summary:
Leads a team of 2 associates to manage the procurement and asset tracking process of all Aaron’s IT equipment. Manage the invoicing processing and three-way matching for all IT equipment purchases by Aaron’s. Manages Aaron’s equipment leasing program and annual physical inventory of Aaron’s IT equipment in the Aaron’s SSC’s. The position also requires the ability to recognize trends and foresee potential problems and reporting needs with regards to Aaron’s financial and I.T. Departments, as well as vendors – and act upon those needs proactively by creating reporting as needed as well as identifying and engaging resources needed to achieve resolution. The ability to distill enterprise wide procurement and asset management activity and trends into succinct reporting for senior leadership is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Liaison with executive leadership as well as Accounts Payable, Corporate Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, and I.T. management
•Manage and execute the monthly termination of oldest lease contract and transition of asset records from a leased category to a purchased asset
•Oversee monthly task assignments and reporting deadlines are met
•Perform daily administrative tasks relating to OneSource Procurement as well as OneSource Asset Management applications - tasks such as managing users and access, vendor profiles, and other application parameters
•Review and approve procurement requests (Requisitions) - review for legitimate Business Need, validate commodity and type of use for line items, as well as account coding
•Oversee the tracking and assignment of monthly expense costs for over 84,000 I.T. related assets
•Oversee process flow of ordering, acknowledgement of receiving ordered equipment, and matching of invoicing to orders within the online OneSource Procurement application
•Develop queries and supporting database tables to support and or enhance existing reporting needs as well as ad hoc reporting
•Monitor idle asset inventory and guard against unnecessary expenditures
Required Education, Experience, and Certifications:
•Associate degree or relevant certifications
•Strong familiarity with general accounting procedures - 2 years of accounting/finance experience preferred
•In depth familiarity with Excel and Access & functional knowledge of SQL is preferred
