Visual Merchandising Manager

Coordinates the visual merchandising presentation of all categories of products in the company stores in partnership with the DMM and CMO.This includes layout of the categories in-store, category adjacencies within the store, vignette layout and presentation and visual enhancements (imagery, accessories, etc.) This position is a part of Aaron’s Buying Team and reports to the DMM.The role works cross-functionally with Aaron’s Buying team, Marketing, e-Commerce, and influences our store operations with guidance on best practices and corporate guidelines.

·Guides brand visual presentation standards in conjunction with the merchants and ensure they are followed

·Conducts a photo review process and gives guidance when needed

·Manages training tools to ensure the Visual Merchandising team applies unified principles across all stores:

oBest Practice and Standard Guidelines

·Partners with Merchants to accessorize furniture buys to ensure overall look of the showroom, mix, and pricing

·Works cross functionally with Store Operations to guide to Division Merchandisers

·Partners with Store Development and Merchandising team to execute new store openings and appropriate product placement and visual appeal within the store

·Manages for Quarterly Hot Zone execution in coordination with the DMM and merchants (layout, presentation, guidance)

·Partners with the Marketing and eCommerce teams on pre-and post-production for any shoots in which the result will be customer facing (prop sourcing, styling, etc.)

·Actively involved with Gen5 store execution: product presentation, floor placement/layouts, accessory merchandising (art, table top rugs).

·Store map development: work with DMM, merchants, and real estate team to develop store planograms.

        Effectively communicates to all levels of the organization merchandising strategy and direction for an upcoming quarter. Responsible for communicating merchandising vision and strategy to internal and external groups


Education and Experience:

·Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or related experience

        Minimum 5 years of Visual Merchandising experience.

moving product, etc.)
