FC - Shipping Supervisor 3rdShift
This is a 3rd shift position.
Role and Responsibilities The Shipping Supervisor position is a full time position in a fast paced, goal oriented environment. The position requires the Shipping Supervisor to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities with a focus on excellent customer service and support. Builds strong customer relationships, and loyalty through exceptional customer service: • Communicating with Aaron’s stores and RM’s by phone to resolve order issues. • Establishing and maintaining effective and cooperative working relationships with Aaron’s store’s for the purpose of providing a consistent level of customer service. • Contacting Aaron’s store’s to determine satisfaction level of daily deliveries and driver support. • Provides Aaron’s store support by addressing concerns, answering questions and researching information as requested by store associates. • Identifying order accuracy. • Maintains driver paperwork. • Maintains store files. • Assist stores with special requests/needs. • Minimize lost sales/revenue by effective and timely management of Back Fill report. • Provides Aaron’s stores with ETA’s on merchandise and offers alternatives by suggesting substitutions. • Order creation. • Daily order confirmation. • Maintains Transportation Data Base. • Maintains daily report tracking store issues. • Attends Store P&L meetings monthly • Attends New Store openings • Responds to store survey reports • Monitors aging inventory and manages damage discounts Qualifications and Education Requirements: • Prior retail customer service experience • Interpersonal and communication skills combined with the ability to communicate with company personnel at all levels, both verbally and in writing. • Interactive skills with the ability to work independently and proactively. • Organizational skills including ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects. • Detail Oriented. • Understands the needs and objectives of the stores. • At least 1 year experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities described above. • Initiative and a strong work ethic. • Ability to meet new challenges with optimism and an open mind. • Attention and adherence to the organization’s values and principles. • High school diploma or GED; or equivalent work experience
Preferred Skills • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook • Experience utilizing multiline phone system • Prior WMS experience
