As a Management Development Associate, you will have the opportunity to learn the various facets of our business to help build a foundation for a management career at Aaron’s! Aaron’s provides diverse management opportunities from our Customer Account Manager role supporting the Customer Accounts Department to managing your own store as a General Manager. We are identifying candidates for future management opportunities in our Management Development Program as our company continues to grow! Customer Account Manager
Collect Revenues and Protect Company Assets
Act as a customer counselor by discussing benefits of timely lease agreement renewal payments
Contact customers directly who have not paid their Lease agreement(s)

Customer Care
Contact customers over the phone and through field visits
Maintain and update customer database
Assist with merchandise returns and customer deliveries as needed

Additional Duties
Clean and certify returned merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center
Assist in the Field where necessary

Position Requirements
Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills
Position routinely requires lifting, loading, and “dollying” heavy merchandise
Strong telephone etiquette
Good organizational skills
Maintain professional appearance
Good driving skills with the ability to legally drive the Company Truck

Sales Manager

Job Duties
Manage the overall sales function of the store – Inside & Outside Sales
Sell merchandise
Set and achieve weekly and monthly sales goals
Generate new business by developing and implementing community marketing strategies
Confirm customer identification, collect money and obtain customers’ signature on lease agreements
Review and close lease agreements as directed by the General Manager

Customer Care and Satisfaction
Ensure execution of Aaron’s YES Program of Customer Service
Promptly resolve customer concerns
Assist in Product Staging, Warehouse Maintenance and Quality Assurance Center
Ensure showroom floor is merchandised
Maintain the store’s warehouse in a neat an orderly manner
Monitor and ensure efficient operation of the Quality Assurance Center

Additional Duties
Perform routine service calls and product exchanges as needed
Assist General Manager with product ordering, including planning for future sales and events and stock balancing
Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for all items personally returned

Strong driving skills and the ability to legally drive the company truck

All associates in the Management Development Program must have a satisfactory MVR (driving record), D.O.T. physical/certification in states that require it, a valid Driver’s and comply with the Aaron’s Driver Qualification Policy. Additionally, a drug screen and criminal background investigation are required before beginning employment. A job performance reference check is also required.
